Get started in 3 minutes
1. Create your free account
Visit boletra.com, tap Start free and enter your email. You receive a magic link (valid for 15 minutes), click it, and you’re in — no password, no card.
Your account starts with 50 free tickets every month, enough to run a monthly indie event without paying for the platform.
2. Create your venue
On your first visit we ask for:
- Public name of the venue (what your buyers see).
- Slug (the URL
boletra.com/o/<slug>/...). Must be unique. - Default language — Spanish or English. You can add more per event later.
3. Connect Stripe
From the dashboard tap Connect Stripe. We hand you off to Stripe Connect Express where you fill in:
- Bank details (CLABE in MX, CBU in AR, IBAN, US ABA, etc.).
- Person or business identification.
- Business information.
When you come back, your account is ready to publish events. Boletra never touches the money — buyers pay directly into your Stripe account.
4. Publish your first event
In Events → New event fill in:
- Banner image (JPG, PNG, WebP or AVIF, max 5 MB).
- Title and description in each supported language.
- Start and end dates + timezone.
- Venue / location.
- Currency and service fee (added on top of the ticket price; goes to your Stripe account too).
- Ticket types: name, price, capacity. You can start with one (
General) and add VIP / combos later.
Tap Publish event. The public link (boletra.com/o/<slug>/<event>) is now live.
5. Share the link
Any social network works. Your buyer:
- Sees the event page, picks their tickets.
- Pays by card or wallet (Apple Pay, Google Pay).
- Receives an email with the link to their ticket, which shows a rotating QR.
You see every sale in real time on your dashboard, with channel attribution (UTM) and per-ticket-type conversion.
6. Validate at the door
Download the Boletra Scanner app (iOS / Android), scan the validator QR your dashboard generates, and start scanning. Works offline if you pre-sync the event with wifi before it starts.
